VP, Creative Production

Cathryn is truly a rare find. She is an incredible talent. Cathryn joined our department as a jr. writer and immediately jumped in writing concepts and scripts. Quickly she took on more and more responsibility producing her own cobranded spots. She worked with senior members of the marketing team on building out programs for our clients. She has great poise and is a joy to work with. Cathryn will be an asset to any team she joins. I look forward to working with her again.

I've had the unique privilege of working with Cathryn several times throughout her professional journey, first overseeing her as a creative intern, only to collaborate with her again years later as a fellow writer. She is a versatile creative thinker, an articulate and concise writer, and a diligent and intuitive worker. As a collaborator, she is equally comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback, and her experience on the operations side of the marketing business has only served to make her an even sharper strategic thinker. If you're looking for a great copywriter with a singular voice and a finger on the cultural pulse...look no further!

Cathryn is an advertising humdinger! She had a dual-semester tenure as an Intern at Viacom Velocity, and that’s saying volumes because rarely do we invite Interns back. I could bandy about adjectives to describe Cathryn (“the greatest”): buttoned-up, perspicacious, collaborative, self-motivated, talented, affable . . . But her sure-footed, results-oriented way of handling anything that was thrown at her — whether it meant generating marketing ideas; editing 11th-hour decks; writing internal communications, or external ads; leading a team of interns in a cross-network Big Ideas pitch; conducting ethnographic research for other writers; crafting taglines; whatever! — I felt confident in Cathryn’s ability to do a stellar job each and every time. To add another layer on this “praise cake” — Cathryn is adept at building strong campaign ideas that rest on solid foundations of strategic thinking. Most importantly, her experience as an actress and a screenwriter informs her work as well as compels her to seek out interesting ways of leveraging great storytelling to influence and entertain audiences.
